A total of 60 graduates in apprenticeships and dual study programs received their certificates at the Schaeffler location in Herzogenaurach. They were acquitted at a solemn event.
HR Manager Olaf Riesebeck congratulated the apprentices: "They have laid the foundation for your further career development. I am convinced that you are well prepared, constantly learning and actively shaping the permanent changes. "He thanked the trainers for their tireless dedication. "At Schaeffler we are proud of our education. It stands for quality and continuity. It produces well-qualified employees who form the backbone of the company, "said Riesebeck.
Awards for Outstanding Achievements
Diplomas were awarded to a total of 16 industrial mechanics, ten toolmakers, four mechatronics technicians, four industrial clerks, three electronics technicians, three technical product designers and one material tester heat treatment technology. One student has completed her training as part of the two-in-one program and will start her studies in the next step. With the Two-in-One program, Schaeffler combines the advantages of practical vocational training and study. Eighteen students successfully completed this dual study program.
Half of the young professionals were also able to enjoy cash bonuses for outstanding results in the final exams worth 250 or 500 euros. The two-in-one program was completed by Philipp Schleich with a grade point average of 1.1. Best apprentice was Alexander Berndt, who scored 96 out of 100 points.
Start of training and application
As early as September, more than 130 young people will begin their vocational training at Schaeffler in Herzogenaurach. At present, the Herzogenaurach site trains a total of around 430 young people. Throughout Germany, Schaeffler offers training at the highest level to around 1,500 young people at 22 locations. The technology company offers training in 18 industrial-technical or commercial occupations as well as the possibility of twelve different dual study programs.
